What Documents Do You Need for a Business Funding Application?
A complete application starts with clear business information and the right documents. For a Hybrid Funder application, prepare your four most recent months of business bank statements, complete the required business and owner details, and explain how you plan to use the funding. Individual funding partners may request additional information.
1. Gather your business bank statements
Download complete statements directly from your bank, preferably as PDFs if the upload field accepts them. Include every page for each of the four most recent statement months. A screenshot of your current balance is not a replacement for a complete statement.
Check the business name, statement dates, and page count before uploading. If you use several business accounts, ask our team which statements are needed. If your business has only three months of history, contact us before submitting so we can clarify what is available and what a funding partner may require.
2. Complete the business and owner information
Have your legal business name, entity type, tax identification number, business address, start date, industry, revenue information, and requested funding amount ready. Enter the owner information requested in the application accurately and review all authorizations before submitting.
Use the application’s designated fields for sensitive information. Do not place Social Security numbers or bank documents in public comments or social media messages.
3. Explain existing funding and your intended use
If your business has existing advances or other financing, provide accurate information about balances and payment obligations when requested. Keep supporting statements or agreements available for follow-up.
Describe the business purpose of your request: for example, inventory, equipment repairs, payroll, seasonal expenses, or a planned expansion. A clear request helps our team organize your file; it does not guarantee an offer.
4. Check your uploads before submitting
Open each document to confirm it is readable. Follow the file-type and size limits shown in the application. Wait for uploads to finish, check for error messages, complete all required fields, and look for a submission confirmation.
If an upload fails, contact our team before repeatedly sending duplicate applications. Tell us which step failed and the error message you saw. We can help clarify the next step without asking you to post sensitive documents publicly.
5. Explore cash-flow scenarios before choosing an offer
Our Cash Flow Prediction Tool lets you explore illustrative scenarios using revenue, expenses, existing MCA payments, and funding assumptions. Use it to consider how payment obligations could affect the cash available for your business.

The tool is a planning calculator, not an approval prediction or funding offer. Its results depend on your inputs and assumptions. Review any actual offer separately, including net proceeds, total cost, fees, payment frequency, and the provider’s written terms.
