Getting started

What does Hybrid Funder do?

Hybrid Funder connects business owners with a network of funding partners and investors. We help organize applications, coordinate documents and communications, and explain available offers. Our team brings over 15 years of MCA industry experience. We do not directly issue the funding offered through this website; the selected funding provider makes the final approval decision and supplies the capital.

What is a merchant cash advance?

A merchant cash advance, or MCA, is business financing commonly structured as the purchase of a portion of a business’s future receivables. The business receives an advance and remits the agreed purchased amount under the contract. An MCA is not the same product as a conventional term loan. The actual agreement, payment structure, and applicable law matter—ask for an explanation of the specific offer rather than relying on its name alone.

Where are funding options available?

Our funding partner network serves businesses in all 50 U.S. states and Canada. Products, eligibility requirements, documentation, and terms vary by provider and location. Availability in your location does not guarantee that your business will qualify for a particular product or amount.

What can business funding be used for?

Tell us about your business purpose—for example inventory, payroll, repairs, equipment, seasonal expenses, or expansion. We explore potential options with funding partners based on the request and their criteria. Funding offered through this website is for business purposes, not personal or household expenses.

Can I speak with someone before applying?

Yes. Call (347) 201-2367 or contact our team to discuss your request, documents, or a question about an offer. We serve customers remotely. Our New York address is a mailing address only; there are no in-person customer appointments there.

02

Eligibility & funding amounts

What are the starting requirements?

Our starting minimums are 3 months in business and $10,000 in monthly business revenue. Funding partners may also consider cash flow, industry, location, credit, current obligations, and banking activity. Meeting the starting minimums does not guarantee approval.

How much funding can I request?

Tell us the amount you need and how you plan to use it. We work with partners and investors across a range of funding sizes; there is no single website-wide amount that every applicant will receive. The available amount depends on the provider’s review of your revenue, cash flow, existing obligations, and other criteria.

Can I apply with less-than-perfect credit?

You can discuss your situation with us. Different partners have different credit requirements, and some consider factors beyond a credit score. We cannot promise approval, a minimum score that works for every provider, or a particular rate. A complete and accurate picture helps us explore appropriate options.

Can I apply if I already have business funding?

Tell us about all active advances, loans, lines of credit, balances, and payment obligations. Existing funding can affect eligibility, available proceeds, and affordability. Additional financing may also be restricted by an existing agreement. Review those terms and disclose your obligations before moving forward.

What if my request is complex or does not fit a standard program?

Contact us with the details. Our experience and partner network may help us explore additional options, including syndication where appropriate. Syndication involves multiple participating investors on a deal; it is not available for every request and does not guarantee funding or better terms.

03

Applying & documents

How do I apply?

Complete the business funding application and upload the requested bank statements. Provide accurate business and ownership information, your funding request, and any existing obligations. Our team reviews the submission for completeness and coordinates next steps with relevant funding partners.

Which bank statements should I upload?

Upload your four most recent completed monthly business bank statements, including every page. The application has a separate upload for each month. PDF is preferred, with a maximum of 10 MB per file. Use statements from the business account and make sure the account holder, statement dates, and transactions are readable. Do not upload bank login credentials.

What if I only have three months of statements?

The starting time-in-business minimum is three months, while the standard online application requests four monthly statements. If your business has only three completed months available, call (347) 201-2367 before submitting so we can discuss the documents and provider requirements. Do not upload a duplicate month simply to complete the fourth upload.

Why does the application ask for tax ID, date of birth, and owner information?

These details may be needed for identity verification, ownership review, and the funding provider’s application requirements. Enter them accurately in the designated fields. Canadian applicants can provide their business tax information as instructed; if you do not have a U.S. SSN, contact us before completing that field. Do not enter a Canadian SIN in the U.S. SSN field.

Will applying affect my credit?

Credit checks and their impact depend on the provider, product, and stage of review. Ask whether a soft or hard inquiry is involved, whose credit will be checked, and what authorization is required before proceeding. We do not promise that every application is handled without a hard inquiry.

What happens after I submit, and how long does it take?

Our team checks the file and may contact you for clarification or additional documents. Relevant funding partners review the request and may provide offers, request more information, or decline. Timing depends on the file, provider, verification, agreements, and banking processing. A submission or preliminary offer is not a final funding approval, and same-day funding is not guaranteed.

04

Offers, factor rates & costs

How does a factor rate work?

A factor rate is a multiplier used to calculate a stated payback amount. For example, a $50,000 advance at a 1.30 factor rate equals $65,000 in total payback, or $15,000 above the advance before additional fees. This is an illustration, not an offer. A factor rate is not an interest rate or APR.

Why is a factor rate different from APR?

A factor rate expresses a multiplier on the advance. APR expresses an annualized cost and accounts for timing and other inputs under its calculation method. The same factor rate can represent very different annualized costs over different durations. Our funding calculator illustrates payback and payments; it does not calculate APR.

What should I compare before accepting an offer?

Compare the amount deposited into your account, total payback, fees, payment frequency, estimated duration, reconciliation provisions, early-payoff terms, and any guarantees or security interests. Ask for written clarification of anything you do not understand. A larger advance or a smaller daily payment alone does not show the full cost of an offer.

How do fees affect the money I receive?

Fees may be deducted from proceeds or charged separately, depending on the agreement. If a $50,000 advance has $2,000 deducted upfront, the net deposit would be $48,000. The contract determines the payback obligation and all other charges. Ask for an itemized explanation of fees and the expected net deposit before signing.

How does Hybrid Funder get paid?

Hybrid Funder may receive compensation for arranging funding and managing the process. Compensation and any fees depend on the transaction and applicable agreement. Ask your contact who pays that compensation, whether any charge is paid by you or deducted from proceeds, and how it affects the offer.

Does applying require me to accept an offer?

No. Applying does not obligate you to accept an offer. Review the written terms, costs, and obligations before deciding. Once you sign a funding agreement, your rights and responsibilities are governed by that agreement and applicable law.

Are collateral or personal guarantees required?

Requirements vary. An offer may include a security interest, a personal guarantee, or other obligations even when its marketing describes fast or flexible funding. Ask the provider to explain exactly what is required and review the written agreement before you sign.

05

Payments & ongoing support

How are payments or remittances collected?

Depending on the agreement, remittances may be tied to receipts or collected through scheduled bank debits, such as daily or weekly withdrawals. Confirm the amount or percentage, frequency, start date, and how weekends or holidays are handled. Do not assume every MCA has the same collection structure.

What happens if my business revenue drops?

Contact the provider and your Hybrid Funder contact promptly. Ask whether your agreement includes reconciliation or adjustment rights and what records and procedures are required. An adjustment is not automatic under every agreement. Review your contract before changing payment arrangements.

Can I pay off early or renew later?

Early-payoff savings and renewal eligibility depend on the provider and agreement. Paying earlier does not necessarily reduce the stated payback. Request a written payoff quote. A renewal is a new review and can create new costs and obligations; it is not automatic or guaranteed.

Who should I contact about my active funding?

Use the servicing contact in your funding agreement for payments, balances, payoff requests, and account-specific decisions. Hybrid Funder can help coordinate communications and next steps, but the provider controls servicing and contractual decisions. Keep your agreement and the provider’s contact details available.

06

Privacy & partnerships

How is my application information used?

We use application information to coordinate your request, communicate with you, and support review by relevant funding partners and service providers as described in our Privacy Policy. Review that policy for details about collection, sharing, retention, and privacy requests. Contact us if you need clarification before submitting.

How should I send sensitive documents?

Use the designated application fields and upload controls, or a document channel specifically confirmed by our team. Do not put SSNs, bank statements, or bank passwords in general contact messages, partner signup notes, or social-media messages. If a request for information seems unusual, verify it by calling our published number before responding.

Can I partner with Hybrid Funder as an ISO or affiliate?

Yes—visit our Partners page for separate ISO and affiliate signup forms. ISOs can discuss deal guidance, funding partners, syndication where appropriate, and competitive commissions under agreed terms. Affiliates earn $500 after every funded deal from their referred merchants, including repeat funded deals. Onboarding confirms referral attribution, program terms, and payout arrangements.

Still have a question?

Talk with our team about your business, documents, or an offer you are reviewing. There is no obligation to accept an offer.
