We're Now a Direct Funder — Here's What That Means for You

The short version: Hybrid Funder is now a direct MCA funder. We fund deals with our own capital, make underwriting decisions in-house, and you deal with us — not a middleman shopping your file around.

If you've worked with us in the past, the biggest change you'll notice is speed. Decisions that used to take days now happen in hours. Offers come straight from our underwriting team. Funds hit your account same-day to next-day once contracts clear.

Here's what's changing, why it matters, and what it means if you're a small business owner or an ISO partner.

What Changed

For years, Hybrid Funder operated as a commercial finance brokerage — we took your application, shopped it across multiple lenders, and connected you with whoever offered the best terms. That model worked, but it had limits. You were at the mercy of someone else's underwriting queue, someone else's criteria, and someone else's timeline.

Now, we fund deals directly with our own capital. That means:

  • We make the decision. Not a backend lender you've never heard of. Our underwriting team reviews your file and decides.

  • We set the terms. You get one clear offer from the source — the amount funded, the total payback, the payment schedule, and the term length. No layers of markup, no surprise fees at the finish line.

  • We fund the deal. When you accept, the money wires or ACHs from us to you. Same-day to next-day once contracts clear.

What It Means if You're a Business Owner

Faster decisions. Most applications get into underwriting within minutes. You'll typically have a response within a few hours — not days.

Straightforward offers. We present the total amount funded, total payback, payment schedule (daily or weekly), and term. That's the whole deal. We follow state commercial financing disclosure laws in every state that requires them.

One team from start to finish. You apply. We underwrite. You accept. We fund. Same people, start to finish, with your deal manager reachable by phone, text, or email.

Real humans, real decisions. We don't run algorithmic auto-declines on files that don't fit a box. We look at your bank statements, your cash flow, and your business. If there's a path to funding, we'll find it.

What It Means if You're an ISO or Broker

We still welcome broker-submitted deals. In fact, we've built out a full ISO Partnership Program with competitive commissions, clear payment schedules, and a renewal policy that keeps your merchant relationships intact.

If you're an ISO interested in submitting deals to a direct funder, visit our ISO Partners page or email iso@hybridfunder.com to start the boarding process.

The Basics — Who We Fund

  • Advance amounts: $25,000 to $5,000,000

  • Time in business: 6 months minimum

  • Monthly revenue: $30,000 minimum

  • Positions: 1st position and up

  • Industries: Most B2B, B2C, trucking, construction, restaurants, retail, healthcare, professional services, auto, and more

We do not fund: Cannabis-touching businesses, adult entertainment, firearms manufacturers, payday lenders, or businesses domiciled in Puerto Rico, Virginia, or California.

Why This Matters for the MCA Industry

The merchant cash advance industry has taken a lot of heat — sometimes deserved — for opaque pricing, middlemen stacking commissions, and merchants ending up with deals they didn't fully understand. Being a direct funder lets us control the full process end-to-end: how deals are underwritten, how offers are disclosed, and how merchants are treated after funding.

We believe small business owners deserve straight answers, fair terms, and funding partners who pick up the phone. That's the business we're building.
